Ort. Catia Pineza is a highly experienced and certified Orthoptist with expertise in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of a range of eye conditions. She has over 16 years of experience working in both private practice and national health hospitals in Europe. She is a member of the International Orthoptics Association and holds a BSc in Orthoptics from the Lisbon School of Health Technology in Portugal. 

She has worked as a lead Orthoptist at Hospital de Cascais, where she developed her skills and research projects in the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of adult and paediatric cases of binocular vision anomalies. Mrs Catia also has extensive experience with ocular motility disorders, congenital abnormalities and developmental ocular abnormalities.

With 7 years of practice in the Gulf region, Mrs Catia Pineza has worked with a diverse range of patients, including children and adults with special interest in cases of learning difficulties and physical disabilities. Ort. Catia Pineza has special interest in cases of Rehabilitation and Sports Vision. She is also skilled in conducting eye exams and low vision assessments. She is dedicated to providing personalised care and is committed to ensuring her patients receive the highest quality treatment available
